The Unjust Global Justice
And if the reverse is true at global order,
Then, what is ‘wrong‛ follows to be right,
Leaving what is ‘right‛ to remain in plight,
For its wings are clipped, devoid of might.
If cooked lies for vice are echoed without tether,
Verdict arrives, at the diktat of a mallet‛s power,
Soon truth crouches ready to fl y out of the window,
Leaving the room for injustice to caper and crow,
And rebound on the perpetrator, on the morrow.
If vested interest looms in and clouds one‛s eyes,
It denatures justice and makes it go off the rails,
As a greased palm often runs after its advantages,
So does interest debase justice by subtle modes,
For which a soul of a strong fi ber never fl inches.
‘If gold rusts, then, what shall iron do‛?
Should it follow suit, without much ado?
Leaving ‘overlords‛ with carte blanche, go astray,
Shrugging off one‛s mission and opting to betray,
Then and there justice is left in the lurch to sway.
If justice were left to decide its own fate,
Souls would make merry around its gate,
Injustice would be dented and peace would prevail,
For a graceful world full of love and viable success,
That could make life worth it and full of access!
