Eritrean Foreign Minister Osman Saleh and Presidential Adviser Yemane Ghebreab arrived in Khartoum on a two-day visit in which the delegation transmits a message from President Isaias Afwerki to the Chairman of the Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, to a meeting with the Vice President of the Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo Hamidati And the Prime Minister Dr. Abdullah Hamdok. to discuss relations between sudan and Eritrea.The visit to develop the excellent relations between the two countries and to tighten coordination between the two countries on regional issues.The Eritrean delegation also met Prime Minister Abdullah Hamdok as well as Vice President Mohammed Hamadan Dugglo. The delegation congratulated the people and Government of Sudan on the country’s removal from the US list of “state sponsors of terrorism”. President Al Burhan thanked Eritrea for its strong & unwavering solidarity with Sudan; stated that bilateral security cooperation has commenced; and, stressed the need to develop it further. He also stated that Sudan & Eritrea share identical positions on timely Horn Of Africa cooperation.
